Data we process
For online bookings we process name, email, telephone number, age, address, selected vehicle, rental dates and times, pickup and return locations, voluntary notes, and information needed for pricing, status and contract handling.
When you contact us by email, telephone or WhatsApp, we process the contact details and content you provide. Website access also creates technically necessary connection data such as IP address, time, requested page, status code, data volume, referrer and browser information.
Purposes and legal bases
Booking and contact data is processed for pre-contractual measures and contract performance under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Statutory retention is based on Art. 6(1)(c). Secure, stable website operation and abuse prevention are based on our legitimate interests under Art. 6(1)(f).
Where consent is required, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and consent may be withdrawn for the future at any time.
Online booking and confirmation email
Booking data is stored in our administration system and is accessible only to authorised persons. After submission, reservation details are emailed to the address provided. Email is delivered through World4You, which technically processes sender, recipient and message content.
Please do not enter sensitive information in the notes field unless necessary for the rental.
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted on a server operated by Contabo GmbH. The provider processes necessary connection and log data to deliver the website, detect attacks and secure operations. Data-processing agreements are concluded where required.
Cookies and consent settings
The website uses first-party cookies that are technically necessary for sessions and cross-site request forgery protection (XSRF). They support forms, language navigation and the secure administration area. The regular session expires after 120 minutes of inactivity.
Your cookie-banner choice is stored in your browser’s local storage so we do not ask again on your next visit. Optional cookies may be set only after your consent. We currently use no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer or by deleting the website data in your browser.
External links: WhatsApp and Google
The site contains ordinary links to WhatsApp, Google Maps and Google reviews. Loading our website does not transmit data through these links. Only when you click one do you leave our website and the provider’s privacy terms apply. A prepared message may be passed to WhatsApp.
We do not use Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads conversion tracking, Google Site Kit, Vimeo, Zoom, Cloudflare, Borlabs Cookie, external Font Awesome or external Google Fonts.
Recipients and transfers
Data is available only to people and processors who need it for bookings, contracts, hosting, email, accounting or legal claims. It is disclosed to authorities only where legally required or to handle traffic offences. Data is not sold.
If you open an external service such as WhatsApp, that provider may process data outside the EEA. We do not directly control processing initiated by that click.
Retention
We retain data only as long as needed for enquiries, reservations, contracts and potential claims. If no contract results, data is deleted after the handling purpose and a reasonable follow-up period have ended, unless claims require retention.
Contractual, invoice and tax records are generally retained for seven years under statutory duties. Security logs are kept only as long as needed for operation, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and may withdraw consent for the future. Contact info@perfectcarrent.at.

Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards. Browser traffic is encrypted with TLS/HTTPS and administration access is restricted. Absolute security of electronic processing cannot be guaranteed.
No automated decisions
Booking data is not used for profiling or solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Availability and acceptance are reviewed personally.

We update this policy when the website, services used or legal requirements change. The current version is available on this page.
