Scope and contracting party
These Terms and Conditions apply to vehicle reservations and rental agreements with Hasmik Guyumjyan, trading as PerfectCarRent (“PerfectCarRent”). Conflicting customer terms apply only where expressly accepted in writing.
The specific reservation confirmation and the rental agreement signed at handover take precedence over these general terms.
Reservation and conclusion of contract
A booking submitted through the website, by email, telephone or WhatsApp is initially a reservation request. It becomes binding only after personal confirmation by PerfectCarRent. The rental agreement is concluded in writing no later than at vehicle handover.
Availability is checked for the requested period. If the selected vehicle is unavailable, a comparable vehicle may be offered, but no substitution is made without the customer’s consent.
Prices, payment and included kilometres
The prices displayed during booking or individually confirmed apply and include statutory VAT for consumers. Unless otherwise agreed, the rental price and deposit are payable in cash at pickup.
The rental includes 200 kilometres per rental day. Each additional kilometre costs EUR 0.40. Agreed delivery or collection charges are shown in the booking summary or confirmation.
Minimum age and documents
Drivers must be at least 22 years old and hold a valid licence for the relevant vehicle class. A valid driving licence and passport or identity card must be presented at handover. An international driving permit is additionally required where applicable in Austria.
Only drivers named in the rental agreement and approved by PerfectCarRent may drive the vehicle.
Deposit
The cash deposit shown when booking the selected vehicle is due at pickup and is refunded following complete, proper and punctual return.
Legitimate claims may be deducted, including missing fuel, excessive soiling, late return, excess kilometres, uninsured minor damage or missing equipment. Further legitimate claims remain unaffected.
Use and duty of care
The vehicle must be used carefully, according to its instructions and within the law. Subletting, use by unauthorised drivers, motorsport, vehicle testing and carriage of dangerous goods are prohibited. Loads must be properly secured.
Smoking and e-cigarettes are prohibited. Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs or impairing medication is prohibited. Animals may be transported only with prior consent and suitable restraint.
Cross-border travel
Travel without a surcharge is permitted within the EU and to Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. PerfectCarRent must be informed of the destination before departure.
Travel to Turkey, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Moldova, Kosovo or countries outside Europe is prohibited. Written approval must be obtained for destinations not expressly listed.
Insurance, damage and accidents
Vehicles have comprehensive insurance. For an accident caused by the renter, the excess is generally EUR 750 where insurance cover applies.
Accidents, theft, wildlife collisions and other significant damage must be reported immediately to the police and PerfectCarRent. An accident report must be completed and no admission of liability made to third parties. Insurance cover may be lost in cases of intent, gross negligence, prohibited use or breach of reporting duties.
Return, fuel and delay
The vehicle must be returned at the agreed place and time with the documented fuel level, all keys, documents and equipment. Any delay or requested extension must be agreed immediately.
Missing fuel, excessive cleaning, late return and lost equipment may be charged at the actual reasonable cost.
Traffic offences and penalties
The renter bears all tolls, parking charges, traffic costs and penalties incurred during the rental. PerfectCarRent may provide required renter data to authorities or entitled bodies and charge reasonable, documented administration costs.
Cancellation
A confirmed reservation may be cancelled free of charge up to three calendar days before pickup. For a later cancellation or no-show, reasonable compensation for the actual loss may be requested, taking account of saved expenses and any replacement rental.
Data protection
Personal data is processed to handle the reservation, perform the rental agreement, communicate and comply with legal duties. Further details are provided in this website’s Privacy Policy.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections of the customer’s habitual country of residence and statutory venues remain unaffected. For business customers, Graz is agreed as venue to the extent permitted.
Final provisions
Changes and additions should be recorded in writing. Individual terms in the rental agreement take precedence. If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective and the statutory rule applies instead.
